Maybe something wrong with hardware, antenna or crystal calibration value.

I desoldered the first 0R resistor connected to the antenna pin on the dev board, and connected my external antenna and… same problem!
Link quality varies between 40 and 50 with the external antenna, whereas the chip antenna on the dev board achieves easily 68/70.
So there is definitively something wrong…
Here's the U.FL to SMA adapters and antennas I tested:

Bump.
Has anyone used successfully an external antenna with the carambola2?
The carambola2 is unable to connect to an AP at 5m of distance without any obstacles, whereas all the other wifi devices get a very strong signal at this distance…
