I just got my carambola module + development board but I noticed that the 20 jumper pins next to the module are missing. I haven't tested the board but I want to kow if this is normal or I got a defective one? Also the ethernet jacks are diferent than the showed in the pictures so, is this a new design? Will the enclosure fit to my board?

You mean that J5 is unpopulated? That's normal, or at least mine is like that and it's fine.

To explain further, J5 isn't jumpers in the sense of being meant to connect together. They are a 0.1" pitch breakout of the Carambola module pins.
I have just soldered a few wires to the pads for my 1-wire peripherals, but of course you could solder in a full set of headers and use a ribbon cable with an IDC connector or whatever suited your application best.
