Hi,
I recently purchased USB2CAN adapter and my reason to do so was that there was a linux driver for it. Unfortunately I was not very thorough in my research before that purchase, since as it turns out this device exhibits problems when used on Linux hosts with USB3.0 port:
Sadly enough the main machine that I am using for development(MacBookAir) has only USB3.0 and it is affected by this bug. Given how when connected to a USB2.0 host the same dongle behaves fine, I am inclined to think that this is a firmware problem. Despite the fact there's a button which makes it is possible to switch device into DFU mode with the button and that some firmware source is available here , I can't really use it to try to solve the problem myself, because the source tree uses non-GCC toolchain and the USB2CAN board does not bring out JTAG/SWD.
Is this something 8devices team works to address?

I have never tested usb2can under Linux USB3.0 but on Win 64bit USB3.0 works stable with upgraded firmware version to 1.5. 1.4 ver has problem with USB3.0 port.
