We are happy to announce that our Habanero Wi-Fi 5 SoM has received MIC certification for Japanese markets!
To acquire this certification, Habanero underwent a rigorous certification process known as TELEC. The tests included frequency tolerance, output power, emission strength, radio interference prevention, and others, and the certifying laboratory staff found the Habanero to be compliant in all of them.
We believe that this is good news for our clients and partners around the world. MIC certification will make it much easier to create compliant wirelessly connected devices for the Japanese market using the Habanero SoM. Our growing portfolio of certifications will make it easier to introduce projects using 8devices components around the world and reassure our clients that we take the quality and compliance of our products very seriously.
